TIMES-GTAP soft-link methodology and interface

This project developed and tested a methodology for soft-linking TIMES models with a GTAP-based computable general equilibrium model. The exercise identified the input/output data that can be exchanged between the two model types, defined the processes for data harmonization, specified the attributes on which harmonization can be carried out, and highlighted the critical variables and assumptions involved. Since GTAP and TIMES are written in different languages (GEMPACK and GAMS), a dedicated interface was created to support users in linking the models and exchanging data and results, without requiring knowledge of both languages.
