The ETSAP TIMES-Starter Platform

A new approach to building a TIMES energy system optimisation model was introduced with the release of the TIMES-Starter Platform. TIMES is one of the most widely used least-cost optimisation methodologies for informing energy, environmental, and water policy as well as strategic planning. The TIMES-Starter Platform significantly reduces the time needed to assemble an initial model and improves the quality of first-time TIMES models.
