Hi everyone, I am using ANSWER TIMES (version 6.6.1 and GAMS Version 24.7.1) and getting the following error.
''The *.ANT file associated with the "scenario name" case is missing, import not attempted''. I want to know the cause of this error and how to get rid of it. I even get this error when i try to run the demo UTOPIA models and others too. I have installed ANSWER-TIMES on computer with Windows 7 ultimate version.
While I am not an ANSWER expert, I think the reason for the ANT file missing is difficult to know without seeing the GAMS listing file (*.lst). Have you looked at it, and does it contain any GAMS error messages? Maybe you could post the listing file here as an attachment (Zip-compressed).

I agree with Annti, check the LST file. Most likely you have a GAMS license violation where either you didnt get the GAMSLICE.TXT into the GAMS system folder or you've loaded a newer version of GAMS than your license permits.
The ANT file missing error indicates that either GAMS Home folder is not on the PATH, or that you don’t have a valid gamslice.txt file in the GAMS Home folder.
Please check the path refer section 1.4.3 of the Answer TIMES user Manual.
To clarify a bit further, if there is an LST filie then GAMS is pathed fine, if not indeed that is the problem. If an LST exists it will include an indication of any GAMS related problem, where I suspect you GAMSLICE is either missing from the GAMS system folder or too old for the version of GAMS you installed.
